How this visit actually goes
The same order every time, so nothing is opened and nothing is charged before you have seen the figure and said yes.

01
Look at the burner before the electrics
A cap sitting a millimeter out of place, or ports blocked after a boil-over, accounts for a great many of these — and it costs nothing.
-
02
Which burner, and does it click
All burners clicking and none lighting is a different problem from one burner that will not. That distinction is most of the diagnosis.
-
03
Electrode, then module
Electrodes are cheap and crack from spilled liquid; the spark module is the part behind them. They are tested separately rather than swapped together.
-
04
Check the flame itself
Color, height and how it sits on the port. A yellow or lifting flame is a combustion issue and it matters more than the convenience of ignition.

Freedom Induction · Masterpiece · Star burner Thermador cooktop repair in Miami
Freedom induction is this brand's own idea: one continuous glass surface that finds the pans rather than four printed rings to line them up with. It changes what goes wrong and what the complaint sounds like — most of what we are called out for on these is the surface protecting itself, and it is usually right to.
- A zone switching itself off mid-cook
- The surface not recognizing a pan
- Controls locked or answering a wet cloth

Professional · 30" 36" 48" 60" Thermador range repair in Miami
The appliance the brand is built around. A Professional range is two machines sharing a cabinet — a cooktop with star burners or an induction surface on top, and an oven underneath — and the two fail in completely different ways. Knowing which half you are describing shortens the visit before anybody arrives.
- A burner that clicks and will not light
- The oven not reaching or holding temperature
- The griddle heating unevenly across the plate

About Thermador gas burner and igniter repair
The cheap causes are the common ones
Burner caps, ports and electrodes account for most no-light calls on a professional gas top, and none of them is expensive. The cap in particular has to sit exactly where it belongs: a millimeter out and the flame will not carry round the ring. A boil-over that dried in the ports does the same thing, and both are cleaning rather than parts.
When it is worth calling straight away
A yellow or lifting flame, a smell of gas, or a burner that lights and then goes out. Those are combustion and safety rather than convenience, and they are not the ones to live with while you decide.
What decides the figure
Whether it is cleaning and seating, an electrode, or the spark module — and on a professional range with sealed burners, how much of the top has to come apart to reach it.

Questions about thermador gas burner and igniter repair
One burner clicks forever and never lights.
Usually the cap is out of position or the ports under it are blocked. Take the cap off when it is cold, clean the ring of ports with a pin rather than anything that widens them, and seat the cap properly. If it still will not light, the electrode is the next suspect.
All the burners click at once, even the ones I am not using.
That is usually moisture across the ignition system after a spill or a wash, and it often clears once everything is properly dry. If it persists, it is the spark module rather than the burners.
The flame is yellow instead of blue.
Worth a call rather than a wait. Yellow means incomplete combustion — usually air adjustment, a blocked port, or the wrong orifice after a conversion between natural gas and propane.
